British National Youth & Junior Track Cycling Championships 2022
After a successful championship in 2019 and following a break in the racing calendar due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Newport will once again host the British National Youth & Junior Track Cycling Championships at the Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales for 2022.
A key event in the track cycling calendar, the Championships will showcase the best racers from across the country compete for the ultimate status as National Champion. These are the future stars of Team GB and could well go on to compete in races such as the Tour de France, Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games, in the future!
The Championships are being held from the 8th to the 12th of August at the Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales located at Newport International Sports Village. Members of the public are invited to attend the Championships to cheer on the talent on track. Tickets are priced at £5 for a day pass, or weekly passes can be purchased for £15 per person from the Newport live website.
