Mental Health Awareness Course (3hours)
The WSA will be hosting a Mental Health Awareness Course for members on the 28th August from 09.30-12.30. The WSA’s Health and Safety policy suggests that line managers take the Mental Health Awareness course, so the team would recommend checking whether member’s policies are similar, and if so, strongly encourage that the practice is followed.

All members will receive the discounted member rate of £96 plus VAT per person. The rate is £120 plus VAT per person for non members. The WSA has booked the venue at the Sport Wales National Centre.

St John Ambulance is one of the voluntary aid societies (VAS) who are recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as standard setters for first aid training in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. St John Ambulance also offer courses licensed by Mental Health First Aid Wales, who directly train, license and support instructors who deliver who deliver the MHFA course.
