Join the worldwide safeguarding community of athletes, advocates, and allies to address research, evidence, policy responses, and preventative strategies at the 3rd Annual SSI Global Conference, “Safeguarding: Knowledge to Practice” the 1st through 3rd of April.

Who: Featuring speakers, discussions, key researchers, athletes, advocates and survivors from across the globe

Join us as we discuss safe sport practice and how to secure sport as a place of safety for all athletes.

Information

SSI Conference 2022 “Safeguarding: Knowledge to Practice” will feature a full schedule of speakers, panel discussions, presentations by contributors and key researchers, and a focus on the Athlete Voice in all areas of discussion, featuring advocates and survivors working together to encourage more involvement and support in the area of athlete safeguarding worldwide.

This conference is recommended for all those interested in safeguarding, sport integrity, and abuse prevention, as well as those working with athletes and organisations seeking to create safer spaces for all those working in sport.

By bringing together athletes, advocates, sport organisations, members of sport entourages including; coaches, instructors and sport medicine professionals, we will discuss the damaging personal and organisational impacts of rights violations in sport including, but not limited to, sexual, physical, psychological abuse and neglect, and other violations that are in direct conflict with the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child and the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights.
