Rounders Wales join WSA as Full Member 

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is delighted to welcome Rounders Wales to the membership base as a Full Member.  

The organisation maintains a focus on fostering the inclusive growth of rounders in Wales, promoting the sport at all levels and providing those within it with an engaging and welcoming community.

Rounders Wales connects players, coaches, and fans to facilitate a vibrant community and improve the competitive landscape of the sport, elevating it and creating countless opportunities for growth and enjoyment. 

They offer information, advice and guidance for all involved in social and competitive rounders across Wales, and are committed to developing the talent of individual players and teams by offering events and providing courses to encourage continuous growth of the sport. 

The WSA looks forward to supporting Rounders across Wales by offering support and guidance, as well as collaborative opportunities from within the WSA membership.   

As a member, Rounders Wales will also look to take advantage of the WSA’s DBS checking service, governance support, first aid training, and partner offers around insurance.

“We are delighted to be working with WSA and its partners as we continue to work towards achieving Sports Wales recognition as the official National Governing Body for Rounders in Wales.  

“We are both dedicated players and umpires, with over 25 years’ experience between us. What we love most about the sport is the inclusivity and wellbeing that it affords so many people.  

“We are excited about our next steps and will be appointing our board of Governors soon. This will assist us to work collaboratively across Wales and enable us to help make Rounders accessible to all.”
