Take advantage of the WSA Procurement Portal for Sport & Leisure

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) urges members to access the Sport and Leisure Procurement Portal, powered by 2buy2 and open to both WSA and Community Leisure UK (CLUK) members, to make significant savings on a range of essential product categories!

Having worked with strategic partners CLUK, The WSA were thrilled to establish solutions to support the sector amid the financial challenges faced since the onset of COVID-19 and now the cost-of-living crisis – these have come in the form of our Procurement Portal.

To support members through the existential threats posed by current financial challenges, the Procurement Portal offers great opportunities to make economies of scale.

The procurement portal provides self-service access to a range of approved supplier lists, framework agreements, quotes and pricing from pre-accredited suppliers. There will also be access to a series of best practice procurement guides, templates, and procedures free of charge for WSA and CLUK members.

There are opportunities available through 2buy2’s existing product categories, including electricity, gas, water, chemicals, telecoms, cleaning products, IT support, HR support, solar solutions, broadband and more, to make savings as well as generate revenue!

The Portal’s EV charging solutions, for example, offers organisations the chance to generate £1,000-£1,500 per charging point or parking space every year!

Additional demand-led services and products will continue to be added to the portal as and when required.

Many organisations in Wales have already been taken of advantage of the Procurement Portal.

One grassroots club, the Race Association Football Club – a club affiliated to the FAW – announced this month that, courtesy of the partnership between the WSA and 2buy2, they made significant savings on their energy costs.

The club confirmed that, through 2buy2, they’d had a saving of 60% on unit price with a 29% saving on standing charge!

The WSA are also happy to support Sport Wales in the delivery of their recent Energy Saving Grant.  If your organisation has recently submitted to the Energy Saving Grant, or is simply looking for Energy efficient solutions, then take advantage of the Energy rates, solar solutions and EV offers available. To discover all of the ways that the WSA Sport & Leisure procurement portal can support your organisation or club in making vital savings on a whole range of necessary product categories, visit the WSA Sport & Leisure Procurement Portal and don’t hesitate in getting started!
