Disciplinary panel member (voluntary) – Wales Rugby League
As a Volunteer Disciplinary Panel Member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and discipline within Wales Rugby League. You will be responsible for reviewing and adjudicating on disciplinary matters, ensuring that all decisions are fair, consistent, and in line with the league’s regulations and values.
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Attend disciplinary hearings and review cases involving breaches of the league’s rules and regulations.
▪ Evaluate evidence presented by both parties and make informed decisions based on the facts.
▪ Ensure that all disciplinary procedures are conducted fairly and impartially.
▪ Provide clear and concise written decisions and recommendations.
▪ Maintain confidentiality and integrity throughout the disciplinary process.
▪ Collaborate with other panel members and league officials to ensure consistency in decision-making.
Qualifications:
▪ A strong understanding of rugby league rules and regulations.
▪ Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
▪ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
▪ Ability to remain impartial and objective.
▪ Previous experience in a disciplinary or regulatory role is desirable but not essential.
