Event Staff – Cardiff Dragons
Cardiff Dragons Netball are looking for Event Staff to support the smooth running of our Netball Super League (NSL) games for the 2025 season. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy delivering exceptional customer service, this could be the perfect role for you.
This role will be instrumental in the smooth running of our NSL match days, with key responsibilities including:
- Supporting with merchandise set up and sales
- Supporting with ticketing and welcoming fans into our arenas
Supporting with event set up at arenas ahead of match days
Supporting with the running of the event – front of house and back of house
Supporting with directing fans to seating
Support with fan zone area - Liaise with and support mascots and ball girls/boys
Supporting with de-rigging at the end of the event
General Duties:
- Promote and uphold the spirit of Cardiff Dragons Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Netball policy.
- Adhere to Cardiff Dragons Equality & Diversity Policy.
- Undertake any other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of Cardiff Dragons.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in event management, supporting sporting events, hospitality or similar roles is a plus, but not essential as training will be provided.
- Current DBS certificate
- A professional, can-do attitude with a passion for customer service.
- The ability to work in a busy environment and stay calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and long shifts as required by the event schedule.
- You must have your own car or reliable transport to reach our venues across Cardiff.
