Job Title: Finance Officer (Part-Time 2.5 days – Flexible Hours – 12-month Fixed Term)

Reporting to: Cricket Wales Chief Executive Officer

Remuneration: £25,000 to £28,000 pro rata per annum plus fantastic benefits

Main Office Location: Sophia Gardens, Cardiff (Flexible, we will accommodate individual needs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial running of Cricket Wales, including all cash flow transactions.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements using Xero Accounting software (Training available if required).
  • Assist with the annual audit of accounts.
  • Financial Forecasting.
  • Prepare the annual budget and monitor actual performance throughout the year.
  • Oversee outsourced payroll.
  • Develop and improve financial practices currently in place to ensure efficiency.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong fiscal management experience.
  • Proficient in using accounting software.
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Flexible attitude to working in a collaborative team environment.
