Welsh Athletics Olympics & Paralympics resources for schools

Welsh Sports Association (WSA) member Welsh Athletics, in collaboration with other organisations, has launched a bank of resources for schools, based around this summers’ Olympics and Paralympics in Paris.

Entitled Summer of Fun, the resource pack is a guide to help schools run fantastic sports days in the build up to a summer of amazing sport.

Taking place between 26 July and 11 August and 28 August and 8 September respectively, the Olympics and Paralympics are inspiring events – perfect opportunities to engage schoolchildren with their own school sports days.

Not only will Welsh Athletics’ resource support in the development and execution of school sports days, but the guide also covers a range of cross-curricular activities to celebrate the upcoming summer of sport.

This is a perfect opportunity and perfect resource to engage children and get them excited about our Welsh athletes heading to Paris this summer!
