WSA Getting Ready to Release Membership Plus

WSA Getting Ready to Release Membership Plus

We are edging ever closer to the launch of Membership Plus, an initiative that will represent the extension of current Welsh Sports Association (WSA) member benefits.

The concept of Membership Plus has been conceived following consultation with the WSA membership base and is primarily aimed at providing cost-effective solutions to optimise organisational efficiency and capacity.

The first Membership Plus packages will be released in April in the shape of Advocacy Plus and Finance Plus. Please keep a look out for more information regarding our new service in the coming weeks; for now, though, read below to find out more…

Advocacy Plus will offer a bespoke selection of specific guidance and support in relation to Welsh Government & the Senedd; among which will include strategic advice and introduction to officials, twice-yearly Advocacy Board Development meetings, and monthly Advocacy reports to relate closely to your specific organisation’s strategic objectives.

Meanwhile, Finance Plus will provide confidential, professional hands-on bookkeeping service and support, designed for small to medium-sized member organisations looking for support with financial compliance. Within the offer will include annual reviews of finance compliance against the Sport Wales capability framework and the preparation of monthly management accounts, inclusive of a financial summary report for board meetings

The WSA has already had its first few orders for these packages, so if you’re looking to set aside some budget for the new financial year, please don’t hesitate in getting in touch!

Please note that spaces will be extremely limited in the first year of this new initiative, so please contact the WSA team in order to express an interest and to find out more.

In addition to these new Membership Plus packages, the WSA will also be updating its core membership offer to include a range of new templates and resources, partner opportunities and digital platforms, as well as developments to training offers! Please get in touch with the WSA team for further detail.
