WSA launch Strategic Planning training course for sport and leisure organisations
The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) has launched its latest course on the WSA Online Training Platform, Strategic Planning for organisations in the sport and leisure sector.
With Introduction to Sports Governance in Wales, Legal Structures for Sports Clubs, Level 1 First Aid in Sport, and Data Protection Fundamentals for Sports & Leisure Organisations all currently live on the Platform, the WSA is delighted to be able to offer yet another crucial piece of training and CPD for the sector.

Strategic Planning is delivered by Geoff Wilson of Geoff Wilson Consultancy, an agency boasting expertise in developing strategic plans and helping to sustain and grow sporting organisation and National Governing Bodies.
Geoff Wilson Consultancy boasts clients throughout the UK and Ireland as well as across Europe and globally, including UEFA and FIFA.
In this course, participants will be taken through a proven, yet easy to follow, strategic planning model.
This model is a ‘step by step’ approach that will give you a clear direction when creating your strategic plan.
In addition, Geoff has provided a number of useful templates that you can use when creating your vision, mission, values, goals, objectives and action plans.
This course is only 140 minutes yet is packed with all the key ingredients to get your started on your strategic planning journey. A short-form course, the training is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of strategic planning.
The course is the latest addition to the WSA Online Training Platform, a portal through which all colleagues across the sport and leisure sector is able to participate in cost-effective accredited professional development.
