WSA Sustainability in Sport Conference: Powering Welsh Sport: The Green Energy Revolution panel announced
The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is thrilled to reveal the speakers on another of our panel discussions at the WSA Sustainability in Sport Conference 2024. Sitting on our Powering Welsh Sport: The Green Energy Revolution panel are:
- Aled Lewis, Director at the Cymru Football Foundation
- Jonathan Morgan, Director of 2buy2 EV Charging Limited
- Richard Lawrence, Sport and Recreation Lead at Bute Energy
Aled Lewis
Aled is a Director at the Cymru Football Foundation, an independent charity, established in partnership with the Football Association of Wales to support the development of football facilities.
Aled has a track record of successful strategic and operational delivery having worked in a variety of roles across the sports sector. He played an integral role in establishing the FAW’s Sustainability Strategy, and has been strategically instrumental for millions of pounds worth of investment into sustainable facilities as grassroots football clubs in Wales.
Jonathan Morgan
Jonathan is an experienced professional, delivering value across multiple commodities and industries. Committed to working with stakeholders to develop creative and innovative supplier solutions, Jonathan is responsible for client relationship management for EV Charging.
Richard Lawrence
Richard is tasked with supporting communities near our proposed energy parks to identify key placed based challenges and offer support via the community benefit fund that will come from the proposals if consent is granted.
Richard also has developed the social value standard at Bute, another avenue of support for community groups.
The WSA is delighted to be able to announce the Welsh Sport: The Green Energy Revolution panel, another panel packed with such expertise and experience for the Sustainability in Sport Conference 2024.
