The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) and Loosemores Solicitors have today announced a new partnership which will see WSA members benefit from access to expert legal advisory services.
Loosemores is a boutique law firm, based in Cardiff and with a second office in central London. The firm provides a range of legal advisory services to both corporate and individual clients.
Senior Partner, Mark Loosemore commented:
“We are delighted to be able to announce our strategic partnership with the WSA, the independent umbrella body who support and represent the sport sector in Wales. Loosemores is ranked in the Top Tier for Sport by The Legal 500 2020 and our experienced sports team can provide high-quality specialist legal advice. We look forward to working with the WSA and its partners.”
Victoria Ward, WSA CEO said:
“This partnership provides a fantastic opportunity for the WSA to significantly enhance our support for members, with our legal helpline now doubling to an hours’ free legal advice per matter. This offer has also been extended to our National Governing Body member clubs, so that we can provide practical support to ensure the organisational resilience of sport across Wales.”
In the coming months, the team at Loosemores will also be providing training and workshops for WSA members on issues such as identifying the most appropriate legal structure for your sporting organisation.
