Disability Sport Wales are hosting the launch of the Swansea 2024 Para Sport Festival, returning to Swansea later this year.
Following on from the week-long success of last years’ event, the Para Sport Festival returns in 2024 to build on the local inclusive opportunities and competitive para sport opportunities that were showcased last year.
The launch will highlight the numerous success stories of Paralympians and para-athletes, who began their journey or train in Swansea. They will share their stories of their journey from inclusive grassroots opportunities to becoming elite athletes within their respective sports. Local school pupils, along with all guests, will also be invited to participate and get involved alongside the athletes in attendance.
