Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson to speak at WSA AGM 2023

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023 will take place on the 19th of October, with an address from Sport Wales Chair Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson among the items on the agenda.

The AGM will take place virtually from 16:00 to 17:00, with a link to the meeting already emailed out to members.

During the meeting, we will be welcomed by WSA Chair Lynn Pamment as well as hear about the WSA’s support services to the membership base from Head of Advocacy and Comms Matthew Williams and Commercial Manager Thomas Sharp.

Chief Executive Andrew Howard will also address members as he discusses the WSA’s Annual Report.

We are also thrilled to have Chair of Sport Wales Baroness Grey-Thompson deliver an address to members.

A Cardiff native, Baroness Grey-Thompson assumed the role of Sport Wales Chair in March 2022 having also become a cross-bencher in the House of Lords courtesy of a life peerage, been a trustee of the Commonwealth Sports Foundation, an ambassador for UNICEF, and Chair of UK Active since the conclusion of her illustrious sporting career.

The WSA is thoroughly looking forward to seeing as many members as possible on the 19th of October.
