Wales vs Bosnia-Herzegovina – FIFA Women’s World Cup Play-Off Round One

For the first time in history Cymru have advanced to the Play-Off stages to reach a FIFA Women’s World Cup!

Gemma Grainger’s side face Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday 6 October (KO 19:15) in the First Round. A win for Cymru would see them advance to the Second Round where they would take on Switzerland at Stadion Letzigrund, Zurich on October 11.

Grainger and her players got to this stage by finishing runners-up to France in their World Cup qualifying group, having won six of their ten games in Group I and advancing to the Play-Offs courtesy of a 0-0 draw with close challengers Slovenia at the Cardiff City Stadium last time out.
