Sports Partnerships – Sport Wales Calls for Feedback

Sport Wales recently held Stakeholder Engagement events outlining their ambitions to establish Sports Partnerships across Wales as part of their Strategic response to contributing to the Vision for Sport in Wales – ‘Creating an Active Nation where Everyone can have a Lifelong Enjoyment of Sport.’

The accompanying Play Your Part website has now been updated with a copy of the presentation which includes confirmation of the proposals to both the regional make up and the proposed approach to the roll out across Wales. It also includes a variety of resources, links, data and information to explain the background behind the plans.

Sport Wales are keen to continue to hear your feedback so please feed in via colleagues in Sport Wales or via [email protected] until 19th July 2019.  The feedback will then be gathered, including that from from the engagement events, to refine their proposals and present recommendations on the preferred approach for approval by Sport Wales board in September 2019.

If you would like a follow up conversation around your potential interest in being a lead or delivery partner feel free to get in touch via [email protected] or your liaison officer within Sport Wales.
