WSA Sports Industry Awards Sponsor Showcase: Sportscover Europe
The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is thrilled to have the support of partners Sportscover Europe at the WSA Sports Industry Awards 2023, as they sponsor the Best Innovation Award!
Sportscover Europe is Europe’s leading specialist sports and leisure insurers. Using a worldwide broker network, the organisation specialises in providing tailored accident, liability, property, travel and contingency insurance solutions for sport and leisure.
Unlike most other underwriters, they specialise only in sport and leisure, so are experts at what they do. But they are not just a specialist insurer, they also provide risk management advice, marketing support services and other related services to sport.
“We are fully committed to the sport and leisure sector in Wales,” affirmed Sportscover Europe CEO Martin Crannis. “We have been working alongside the WSA team to provide a range of services to members including, risk management support and the sports coach portal, in addition to our core business of insurance.”
Martin has also spoken to the WSA about his organisation’s desire to support this celebration of Welsh sport and leisure.
“We have been a supporter and partner of the WSA for over seven years,” he commented, “and renewed our partnership for a further five years in 2022.
“The awards are important as they bring the Welsh sporting community together and recognise achievements. Furthermore, the WSA Sports Industry Awards 2023 are a great opportunity for us to reinforce our commitment to sport and leisure in Wales!”
Sportscover Europe will have their name to the Best Innovation Award as we head to the Parkgate Hotel on the evening of June the 8th.
“The requirements of the sport and leisure sector are constantly changing, and it is important that we encourage forward thinking and innovation,” explained Martin.
“Feedback and ideas from our partners and clients are integral in preparing for the road ahead. As global insurance specialists, we focus on delivering solutions that keep pace with the rate of change.”
Alongside the team at the WSA, Sportscover Europe are eager for the inaugural WSA Sports Industry Awards to arrive.
“We are genuine fans with a passion for sport, leisure and entertainment,” concluded Martin. “The awards ceremony is a celebration of what we love and we are looking forward to a great evening!”
