How the WSA can support your sports club and its community

Are you involved in sport and leisure?

If you are involved in a community sport or leisure club in Wales, the Welsh Sports Association (WSA) can support you.

The WSA is the independent umbrella body representing and providing support to the sport and leisure sector in Wales. We have around 140 members in Wales, aiming to empower them to be stronger and more successful, contributing towards a more active, vibrant Wales.

The WSA works with National Governing Bodies of sport, whose own not-for-profit clubs across Wales qualify for the extensive range of services and resources we offer.

What can the WSA do for you?

To achieve our mission, the WSA provides the sector with a collective, independent voice. The WSA works with Welsh Government, Sport Wales and the Senedd to campaign on behalf of the membership base and ensure that the sector’s needs are heard.

The WSA offers a wide range of business services, which can be of benefit to sports clubs and their coaches, participants, and communities. Our offers allow members and their own non-profit members to take advantage of preferential rates on insurance solutions, first aid training and support, and even a 17.5% discount on all sporting equipment from leading designer, manufacturer and supplier Net World Sports, for example!

From first aid training with our Level 1 First Aid in Sport course – available from just £30 for WSA members – to Welsh Language to eco-friendly lighting solutions – the WSA exists to enable sports organisations, clubs, facilities, and their communities to thrive and contribute to a society fit for the future.
