Welsh Triathlon WSA Membership Testimonial
Welsh Triathlon has been a Full Member of the Welsh Sports Association since May 2018 and, according to the organisation’s CEO Beverley Lewis, has found “great value” in WSA membership.
Describing the WSA as a “valuable asset” to her organisation, Beverley revealed the benefits of Welsh Triathlon’s membership.
“We have used WSA staff as a sounding board and taken advantage of a range of pre-vetted, consultancy services including Governance, GDPR and HR at a cost we could afford. We’ve had excellent advice in these areas, providing us with confidence in dealing with legal matters as well as upskilling staff.
“The WSA team, professionally led by Vicky, has always been knowledgeable, available and approachable, and we’ve been directed to some experienced consultants and services from which we have been able to pick and choose. The WSA has been a valuable asset for Welsh Triathlon, whether that’s for sport-specific requirements, or in its advocacy role and collaborative approach to working with Welsh Government and Sport Wales through the COVID-19 Pandemic.
“The Board appears knowledgeable, experienced and professional and the staff have always been willing to go above and beyond to find a solution to any issues we may have.
“Given some of the problems we have dealt with, as a non for profit, membership organisation, the assistance and services provided by the WSA have been of great value for the membership fee we have paid and I would certainly recommend other organisations in the sector to apply for membership.”
