Positive response to WSA Membership Plus
The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is thrilled with the response and uptake to the newest feature of our offer to the sport and leisure sector, Membership Plus.
Designed specifically to provide cost-effective solutions to optimise organisational efficiency and capacity, the first two Membership Plus packages – Finance Plus and Advocacy Plus – launched in April with several members already opting to utilise the new initiative.
Finance Plus provides confidential, professional, hands-on bookkeeping services and support, fronted by WSA Business Support Officer Ehtasham Janjua, for organisations seeking aid with financial compliance.
Meanwhile, Advocacy Plus offers a bespoke selection of specific guidance and support services in relation to Welsh Government and the Senedd, helping your organisation on its road to reaching its strategic objectives.

Encouraging uptake
The WSA would like to say a huge thank you to all the members that have signed up for the respective packages so far. The team are excited that some of our members have already started utilising the service, while kick-off talks with others are scheduled!
With its early success, it’s fantastic to see that Membership Plus is almost at capacity for both packages, but the good news is that there are still two places available if it’s of interest! In addition, the WSA will be offering increased opportunities later in 2022.
Updates to WSA membership offer
Membership Plus is not the only new arrival to the WSA offer. We have been updating our core member benefits to include some new partner agreements, updates to the helpline service and advancements to templates behind the membership log-in.
